Victoria sponge cake, sculptures and more …

Continuing on with day one of our trip, we finished up with Trinity College and started walking the city streets. We found an M&S (Marks & Spencer) store which was great fun. I sure wish we had one of these here, because I loved the clothes, home goods and groceries. Well as soon as we got to the grocery part K set off looking for the Strawberry Victoria Sponge. She was delighted when she found it and I was soon to find out why. That cake was so good! We grabbed a couple of hot teas and lattes and enjoyed it in the cafe. It was heaven in a cake!

One thing I discovered while in Ireland is they love their sculptures, as do I. I love art on the streets.

Apparently Dublin has bikes to rent in 44 sites throughout the city and you can buy a 3 day pass…
