When I saw this week’s prompt for mauishopgirl’s Take a Picture photo challenge I thought oh no! As you all know I love to photograph flowers and nature, however I always have the worst time getting a good photo of any red plants or flowers! Just not my favorite color and extremely frustrating for me!
So I took a look at some of my past photos looking for “red.”. Fortunately I came up with something I liked. I love to photograph close-ups of all items and almost always when traveling my eyes go to the flooring. The following were taken at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan.

Love! The style is so different from what we have here. The carpeting with the floral bunch is lovely.
