Last Christmas a dear friend and I went to afternoon tea at The Arizona Biltmore. Every year for probably the last 15 years we have gotten together, at least at Christmas time, to enjoy afternoon tea. As we made reservations today for a date in December I realized I never shared the photographs I took last year at our lovely outing. We went to The Arizona Biltmore for a luxurious afternoon of hot tea and friendship.
The Arizona Biltmore was decorated beautifully for the holidays.
Although the food and tea was wonderful, we felt like the service was a bit lacking. It just seemed like there was not enough help and we had long waits between tea and service. However, we were in no hurry so we just enjoyed the delicious sandwiches, scones and desserts.
Also at The Arizona Biltmore last year was a gingerbread house exhibit of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Amazing works of cake art!
Watch for a future post when my friend and I check out The Phoenician for tea in December.
Love the photos – Was it Dee? I thought that looked like her hand in the photo. Such a great tradition for you and your friend.
