I truly believe that everything that we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. I love photographing butterflies, they are so different from one another and great practice for macro photography. We are lucky in Arizona in that we have quite a few places to find butterfly houses. There is Desert Botanical Gardens, The Butterfly Wonderland, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Tohona Chul (I believe) and Flagstaff Arboretum.
All of these locations vary, in when the butterflies are in attendance, throughout the year and type of butterflies housed within. The only one that has butterflies throughout the year is Butterfly Wonderland. All of the butterflies in this postwere taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens new pavilion.
