Jaunting Car Ride – Killarney National Park, Ireland

On our fifth day we had an optional evening excursion. We went on a Jaunting car ride through the Killarney National Park. It was a wonderful experience that was definitely worth the money. I believe eight of us climbed aboard the horse drawn carriage with Charlie as our horse. It was freezing, even with the plastic cover over us. It was doable though, especially with the thick plaid blankets. It was nice and toasty.

The park was gorgeous and I wish I lived near a park that I could enjoy and take long walks in. We gave our horse a break at Ross Castle.

  1. Oh my – that all looks like it came right out of a story book! What a wonderful experience, what a beautiful place! I really like the photo of the bridge and the lake with the little boats. So serene, and peaceful looking!
