Recently, my best friend and cousin was having a rough patch in her busy life, and I had the opportunity to fly out to Michigan and spend a few days with her. We both needed the girl time! We started our trip on a Saturday morning driving to Holland, Michigan.
We had lunch at Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant.
We had a great relaxing lunch, sitting on the patio, overlooking the bay. This is actually a pic of the restaurant when we took a walk after lunch.
The food was great. I had a chicken sandwich and my cousin had a turkey wrap. The chips were amazing and everything was perfect.
Not sure what the meaning of the dragon outside the restaurant represents, but I liked it!
When walking on the boardwalk I noticed these cool picnic tables, although they looked a little sad being all empty!
I am by no means a food critic, but I would suggest checking out Boatwerks for a great lunch and walk on the Boardwalk.
