What does pickles, Holland and tilt-shift have in common?

What do these things all have in common? Well they were all part of my afternoon on my recent Saturday in Holland, Michigan.

My cousin, Denise and I, took a long walk on the boardwalk after lunch walking to the point of the Heinz pickle factory. Oh the smell was so odd! Smelled like pickles, but didn’t, i can’t even describe it, but it was pungent!

It really is a great walk. Also, along this path is a monument entitled “The Immigrants.” I love sculptures, bronzes, monuments and art, especially when it is outside.

I also took the time to capture a few kayakers and do some tilt-shift photography (although amateur at best!).

Has anyone out in the blogosphere been to this Heinz factory? Or have any tips for tilt-shift?
