Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market

Recently, on May 3rd, my niece and I went to the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have been trying to get to this event for quite awhile and finally made it. It did not disappoint! It was great fun browsing, buying, talking and visiting with my niece.

I found all the vendors to be so nice and willing to discuss the items for sale and most of the time the history of the antique or handmade item.

My first purchase was the adorable glasses. I have a love of oriental items and just love the trees and lanterns on these glasses. My only wish is that there were four of them!

My second purchase was a teacup made with Carnival glass. I just loved how the light changed the colors like the rainbow.

Our next stop was Mama’s Cold Brew Signature Iced Coffee, which my niece from the blog Whatever Is Lovelier, had previously heard of, but I had not. It was delicious to say the least. I can’t wait to attend the next Junk in the Trunk just hoping they will be there!

My next purchase was a cute delicate bracelet with the symbol for Aries. The woman at the booth was nice enough to adjust it to my wrist. I couldn’t get a photography of it that I liked so thought you might want to check out the website Mallory Square Studios.

Our final stop was to chat with the photographer of Life Created. We had a nice chat and learned about her food photography workshop. I bought a gorgeous print of a blue vintage typewriter. Check out her beautiful prints at Life Created.

The next Junk in the Trunk is scheduled for September 20th, 2014. I can’t wait to attend and maybe take more money!
