Last weekend I was fortunate to be able to attend the Luminarias at my much loved Desert Botanical Gardens. After all the years of being a member I finally got to experience it!
My daughter and I met my niece for a walk thru the gardens. The weather was crisp but clear. Music of different genres flitted thru the night sky.
It was a nice touch to a difficult holiday season. I was able to forget my troubles for a night and enjoy the beautiful lights.
The gardens glowed with beautiful white twinkle lights and Luminarias lined the paths.
My favorite exhibit was the Luminarias spiral in the center of the gardens …
There was a gorgeous Pointsetta tree and your traditional Christmas tree …
I believe that the Luminarias are over for this year, but, if you haven’t been you might want to put it on your holiday calendar for next year.
Best wishes to all for a peaceful New Year! LAF
Beautiful! I was there this past spring and saw Chihuly! Magnificent! However, I need to get there for Christmas. Thank You for posting the delightful photos. You have given me inspiration to make it a must next Christmas! Happy New Year!
