Last year about this time I made a visit to the Arboretum. I have been there a few times in the past, but never in Spring. It really was beautiful! I would highly recommend it anytime, but especially in the Spring. In fact, I better get myself over there in the next month or so.
There are beautiful trails, some of which I haven’t even been on yet. Lots of cactus, a gorgeous greenhouse and large shade trees.

My grandmother had a greenhouse full of cactus and succulents, so this greenhouse always brings back memories!
It appears that there was a Alice in Wonderland party there the weekend I visited, how perfect would that be.
A few blooming plants …
One thing I love about the desert is some of the flowers are so tiny and you really have to hunt them down, they are not all visible at first glance, like the ones above!
I hope this plants encourage you to get outside this Spring.
