Wow, I really can’t believe how fast time flies. Almost a year and a half ago I went to beautiful Vermillion Cliffs in Northern Arizona.
Back in October, 2016, I went on a Women’s photography adventure with Arizona Highway Photo Workshops. It was great. I was a little nervous as I didn’t know anyone on the trip, but everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
The first day started in Phoenix, early morning, as we got to know each other on the bus, our fearless leader, Colleen Miniuk-Sperry taught us about tops on traveling as a woman alone. She had a ton of valuable information. We drove to Cameron Trading Post for lunch.
Our first photographic spot was the bridge as seen above. Old bridge on left and new bridge on the right.
After spending some time at the bridges we made our way to Cliff Dwellers Lodge. Comfortable rooms and wonderful food at the attach restaurant. After getting settled we did some exploring and more photography, of course!
Beautiful Cliffs and colors.
While taking photographs of the water and Cliffs we were given some needed instructions on taking some photographs of the flowing water.
And of course, some plants to end the day…
Until tomorrow, LAF
I’ve often wondered about these photo trips. Sounds like you had a good time. Love that part of AZ.
