After spending the day in Ronda we drove the distance to Torremolinos, a Mediterranean resort town on Southern Spain’s Costa del Sol. What a beautiful place, something I never really pictured in Spain. I expected the history, old churches, etc., but I didn’t expect the resort feel and beaches.
Never in my life or wildest imagination did I expect to be walking on the beach and putting my toes in the Mediterranean Sea.
We had a nice buffet dinner with our tour that evening and then took a walk on the beach. The weather was perfect. The sunset gorgeous. There were a lot of restaurants and bars on the beach. It wasn’t the busy season yet so we had the whole place to ourselves.
The hotel was not the nicest we had on our trip, but it was clean and we were rarely in our rooms. It was undergoing renovations so it was a little… well, under renovation!
The décor was a bit odd for a beach hotel.
