This week’s mauishopgirl’s photo challenge was Home is where the … Is! Well I feel at home anywhere I can get a nice cuppa of tea! Whether it’s black, green, white or rooibos I love it all.
This weekend we took a little trip to The Queen Mary in Long Beach. Upon exiting the beautiful Princess Diana exhibit there is a nice tea shop where you can buy Harney and Sons tea and pretty teacups and teapots. The following are just a few.

So lovely! I’ve always wanted the the tiered plate thingies. Was so disappointed when Target sold out of the Liberty of London ones. I can’t wait to “do tea” with you one day!
I think what I love most about tea is the lovely china and the care that is taken in preparing and presenting the food! Yes, someday we will do a lovely tea!

No I was being good! I did buy a tin of Queen Catherine tea from Harney & Sons though and love it.
I am a big tea drinker. Actually, I like any hot beverage. They make me feel comfy. I’m pretty clutsy, so delicate teacups are just not for me to drink out of, but I have a few for guests and love having them.
Beautiful! I have an old tea pot that was my husband’s aunt. I never got to meet her but we wrote several letters back and forth. We were kindred spirits. Her tea pot set has 4 of the most delicate cups I’ve never seen. The handles of the cups are thinner than a pretzel stick. The tea pot plugs in with a small element inside to keep it hot. I love it.
