Tombstone, Arizona – Wild West at It’s Best!

Tombstone is a great little Wild West town, although a tourist trap at that! Either way I’ve been to Tombstone a few times and always had a good time.

Our first stop into town was a visit to the Boothill Graveyard. I always take a bunch of photos hoping to get some ghostly orbs, but none appear. I think it’s so busy with tourists that it’s orb-free! It’s actually quite peaceful.

Our second stop after getting into Tombstone was the OK Corral for a reenactment (and mint chocolate chip ice cream which was the best)!

The OK Corral gun fight reenactment was fun, cute, and silly all at the same time. The actors did a great job. Besides the reenactment it had some great museum pieces. I just love antique medical bottles and equipment.

I love the boardwalks and overhead signs …

We had a great time shopping and going thru some of the attractions. Just be prepared that everything you want to see or do seems to cost $10.00 each. It can get costly. Some of the things were definitely worth the money, other things not so much.

We had dinner at the Longhorn which is always very good.

So if you find yourself wondering if Tombstone is worth the trip go for it! Just remember it’s pretty cheesy!

Until next time, LAF
