I am not really into weddings, being that I got married years and years ago, however I do love flowers, as you know. Recently while in Michigan visiting my BFF/cousin we spent an afternoon going to Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. It was a slightly chilly, windy, rainy day, however, the weather held out long enough for us to enjoy our time exploring. So what follows are just the photographs I took from the weddings being held that day!
Why devote a post to weddings when I have no real interest in weddings you ask? Because I found the venue so romantic, the flowers so gorgeous and some of the settings just so pretty, that I had to.
The following was my favorite, it was small, but so original and colorful.
I think there were over five events being held that night. Fortunately on the day we were there they let us explore the castle while they were setting up.
Within some of the halls are cases and cases full of wedding memorabilia.
Beautiful celebrations. Come back soon for more from Castle Farms of the castle itself, the gardens, gnomes, miniatures, flowers and sculptures!
