What is The Blogcademy you ask? It is just the best looking workshop on blogging out there. The class is taught by three of the world’s most high-profile bloggers, Gala Darling (Gala Darling), Kat Williams (Rock n Roll Bride) and Shauna Haider (Nubby Twiglet). I have been following all three of their blogs for quite awhile and have learned so much already.

What I expect to learn at The Blogcademy as noted on their blog is the following:
“Everything you ever wanted to know about blogging strategy, branding, monetization, personality and (so much!) more is covered in this exclusive, never-before-done workshop – now taking place in various cities around the world.”
“We provide personalized guidance, big heaps of encouragement and one massive dose of inspiration to all levels, from absolute beginners to total pros. It doesn’t matter whether you do it for the love, to support your business, or if it’s your full-time gig; all that matters is that you have a wild-crazy passion for this thing we call the blogosphere.”
What I hope to get out of The Blogcademy:
Inspiration for sure, guidance and how to get my blog going in the right direction, excitement at being my creative best, spending time with like-minded people with similar ideas and goals, meeting new people, photography techniques, glitter, fun ears, 80’s music, some awesome blogging techniques and branding and maybe a cupcake!
One of my favorite things in life is photography! I feel most at peace and “at home” when behind the camera. Up until this point I mostly shot outside, nature, animals, insects, buildings and landscapes. So, what follows was a real challenge for me, so in hopes that I win the Scholarship for the Austin Blogcademy, I put together a little pictorial:
I’ve got my nails all glittery and my teacup ready to travel …

I’ve got my inspiration board inspiring …

I have my notebook, journal, questions and favorite pen …

I’ve got my jewelry ready … and I’m ready to “sparkle” …

I borrowed my daughter’s “ears” (who is one of my biggest supporters and thinks I can do anything – I want to prove her right) …

I sure hope you enjoyed it, because I had a great time putting it together.
So, in closure “I’m ready to get Schooled!” I look forward to meeting everyone, learning a lot, and having a great time if picked for the scholarship. Thank you for your consideration!
Until next time, Thanks!
Laurie
