Life is hard! It’s true, mentally, physically, financially, socially, you name it at times it is very difficult. I always have a hard time with life at this time of year, it’s so hot here (Arizona), the heat goes on forever, I feel trapped in my home, car and office. Thank God for air conditioning, but I yearn for cooler days.
Just like SAD in the northern region in winter I begin to get depressed and unmotivated in June when the heat rises. Even when the possibility of going in a friends pool for the day sounds miserable due to the bath water temperature of the water! It’s hard to believe that the constant heat can have such an effect on me! I think what I miss the most is in the Summer I hardly take any photographs, which is an important part of my mental, physical and creative health!
So for today I will post some photos from a cooler day at the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum is a 98-acre Zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum and art gallery founded in 1952. It is truly someplace you can spend all day.
The view from one of the trails is beautiful and like a patchwork quilt …
The animals …
The frogs …
The flowers and Desert flora …
Here is to cooler days! Come back soon for more pics from this wonderful place!
Until tomorrow, LAF
